I live and work in the remote hills of the Cévennes, surrounded by limestone gorges, ancient chestnut forests, mercurial rivers and rocky outcrops. The dramatic landscape, with its shifting light and deep contrasts of shadow, profoundly shapes my work. Through it, I explore the space where perception, memory and place converge.
